Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Veltrum platform, located at veltrum.co.com, and all associated services provided by DIRE MONEY TRANSMITTER LLC. Please read these terms carefully before using the platform. Using Veltrum means you agree to these terms.

B. Eligibility Requirements
To use Veltrum, you must be at least 18 years of age. You must be a resident of a US state in which DIRE MONEY TRANSMITTER LLC holds the required money transmission license or is otherwise legally authorized to provide services. You must be capable of entering into a legally binding contract under applicable law. By creating an account, you represent that you meet all eligibility requirements. If your eligibility status changes, you are responsible for notifying us and ceasing use of the platform if you are no longer eligible.
C. Account Registration and Identity Verification
Creating an account requires you to provide accurate and complete information including your legal name, date of birth, residential address, and government-issued identification. This information is used to verify your identity as required by our KYC obligations under the Bank Secrecy Act and implementing regulations at 31 C.F.R. Part 1022.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login information with any other person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us immediately at info@veltrum.co.com.
We reserve the right to refuse account creation, suspend accounts, or close accounts if we determine that the information provided is inaccurate, that compliance obligations cannot be met, or that account activity raises concerns under our anti-money laundering program.
D. Trading Services
The Veltrum platform allows eligible verified users to buy and sell supported cryptocurrencies. All transactions are subject to the fee schedule published on the platform at the time of the transaction. Fees are displayed before you confirm any transaction. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all transaction details before submission.
Transactions on blockchain networks are irreversible once confirmed. Veltrum is not responsible for transactions submitted in error by users. We do not control blockchain networks and cannot reverse or modify confirmed on-chain transactions.
Transaction limits apply based on verification level and applicable regulatory requirements. We reserve the right to modify limits, suspend trading, or restrict specific transactions as required by our compliance obligations or applicable law.
E. Self-Custody Wallet
Veltrum provides a software wallet that allows users to hold cryptocurrency under their own control using private keys. When you use the self-custody wallet, you are solely responsible for the security and management of your private keys and seed phrase. DIRE MONEY TRANSMITTER LLC does not store your private keys and cannot recover them if lost. Loss of private key access means permanent loss of access to wallet funds. The company has no ability to restore access and bears no liability for losses resulting from lost or compromised keys.
F. Fees and Payments
All applicable fees are disclosed before any transaction is confirmed. The fee schedule may be updated from time to time. Updated fees apply to transactions initiated after the update takes effect. There are no hidden fees, embedded spreads, or undisclosed charges. Network fees for on-chain transactions are set by the relevant blockchain network and are not controlled by Veltrum. These are disclosed separately from platform fees.
G. Risk Disclosure
Cryptocurrency products involve substantial risk, including the possible loss of your entire principal investment. Digital asset prices are highly volatile and can decline significantly in short periods. Past performance of any cryptocurrency is not indicative of future performance. Veltrum does not make any representation about the future value or performance of any asset available on the platform. The platform is not FDIC insured. Digital assets held on the platform or in the self-custody wallet are not bank deposits and are not protected by federal deposit insurance. This platform does not provide investment advice. Nothing on the platform constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any digital asset.
H. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Veltrum platform for any unlawful purpose. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to: using the platform to launder money or finance illegal activities; providing false identity information during verification; using the platform on behalf of a sanctioned person or entity; attempting to circumvent transaction limits or compliance controls; using automated tools to access the platform in ways not authorized by these terms; and engaging in any activity that violates applicable US federal or state law.
Violations of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities, and forfeiture of any pending transactions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DIRE MONEY TRANSMITTER LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including losses resulting from cryptocurrency price changes, technical failures, or unauthorized account access. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the fees paid by you to the platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Minneapolis, Minnesota, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm. You waive the right to participate in class action litigation or class-wide arbitration.
